Location is only shared with your trusted contacts when you miss a check-in.
No Selling Data
Your data is never sold to third parties.
1. Overview
At Reasy, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
We designed Reasy with privacy in mind. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide you with a reliable check-in service. While we do collect location data to help your trusted contacts find you in an emergency, this data is only shared when you miss a check-in. We don't sell your data and we don't show you ads.

- ❌ Photos, messages, or other personal content
- ❌ Browsing history or app usage patterns
3. Location Data
How We Handle Location
Location data helps your trusted contacts locate you if you miss a check-in. This information is only shared during a missed check-in event.
Location Data We Collect
We collect the following location information:
- Precise Location (GPS Coordinates): Your device's precise geographic location including latitude, longitude, and accuracy. This is collected using your device's GPS, network triangulation, or other location services.
- Background Location: When you enable background location permissions, we collect your location periodically even when the app is not in active use. This ensures we have your most recent location available if you miss a check-in.
- Location History: A record of your recent locations collected over the past 7 days.
- Important Addresses: Addresses you manually save in the app (such as home, work, or other locations).
Why We Collect Location Data
We collect and use your location data for the following purposes:
- Safety Alerts: To share your last known location with your trusted contacts when you miss a scheduled check-in, helping them locate you in case of an emergency.
- Location History for Context: To provide your trusted contacts with your recent location history during a missed check-in event, giving them additional context about where you may have been.
- Important Places: To allow you to save and share addresses of important locations (like your home or workplace) with your trusted contacts during an emergency.
When Location is Collected
- Foreground: When you are actively using the Reasy app.
- Background: Periodically when you have granted background location permission, even when the app is closed or not in use. This is necessary to maintain an up-to-date location in case you miss a check-in.
When Location is Shared
Your location is only shared with your trusted contacts in the following circumstance:
- When you miss a scheduled check-in and your trusted contacts are notified
When a check-in is missed, your trusted contacts receive:
- Your last known precise location (latitude and longitude)
- Recent location history from the past 7 days (if available)
- Any important addresses you've saved in the app
- A link to view your location on a map
Your location is never:
- Sold to third parties
- Used for advertising purposes
- Shared with anyone other than your designated trusted contacts
- Shared unless you miss a check-in
Your Control Over Location
- Permissions: You can enable or disable location permissions (including background location) in your device settings at any time.
- Important Addresses: You can add, edit, or delete saved addresses at any time in the app.
- Automatic Deletion: Location history is automatically deleted after 7 days.
- Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all location data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Note: If you disable location permissions, your trusted contacts will still be notified when you miss a check-in, but they won't receive any location information. The core check-in functionality of Reasy works without location, but location sharing provides additional safety context for your trusted contacts.
4. How We Use Your Information
